FAQ
Before you send a file
What files should I send?
Vector is best: SVG, AI, EPS, or a PDF with outlines. A PNG can work if it’s sharp and big. A screenshot from a phone is a last resort — we can rebuild it, but that’s extra time. Logos and sketches are welcome either way.
What measurements do you need?
Size, quantity, and where it goes. A truck door is not a water bottle. Include the surface — paint, glass, wall, laptop, boat — so we spec the right film.
Do I see a proof before you cut?
Yes. You get a layout before anything hits the cutter. Colors, scale, and spelling get locked on that proof.
Do you install, or can the vinyl ship?
Install locally. Everything else can ship, ready to lay down. Ready-made stickers ship to your door or pick up.
What does sticker shipping cost?
Ready-made sticker orders estimate $5.95, or free over $50. TRUEFORM confirms the rate after you send the order request. Tax is not calculated on this site.
How long does the vinyl last outside?
Indoor vinyl and outdoor vinyl are different films. We spec outdoor-grade vinyl and laminate when the job sees sun, rain, or a wash. A wrap on a well-prepped panel is a years-long job; cheap film on a hood that bakes is not. Tell us where it lives and we’ll pick the film for that surface.
